Everyone is born Muslim!
Islam teaches that all prophets, from Adam to Prophet Muhammad, conveyed the same core message of monotheism and submission to Allah (Islam). Therefore, being born Muslim means being born into this natural state of recognizing God as the Creator.
In Islamic theology, "Fitrah" refers to the innate, natural state of a human being to recognize and submit to the oneness of Allah (God).
Everyone is born in this natural state
That is why when someone converts to Islam, we say he/she "reverted"
"So be steadfast in faith in all uprightness ˹O Prophet˺—the natural Way of Allah which He has instilled in ˹all˺ people." (Quran 30:30)
Every child is born on the Fitrah (natural, pure inclination to worship Allah alone), but their parents then turn them into Jews, Christians, or Magians”
Oxford University, a bunch of atheists led by Justin Barrett, they conducted a study. They brought children from 20 different countries and in a period of 3 years they conducted experiments on them to see these children from atheistic countries like Japan, Scandinavian countries etc.. they do not have the concept of God introduce to them. And they came to a conclusion and asserted that children are born innately with a belief of a higher power.
Another study, done by Olivera Petrovich and they came with the same conclusion.
Moreover, in Islam there is no the concept of original sin. Adam and Eve did commit a sin, but they repented, and God simply forgave them.
Their mistake is not inherited by their descendants.
No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. ”
Allah is just. People are not born guilty, they become accountable only once they reach moral maturity and knowingly choose right or wrong.
