The Message Of Islam
The Message of Islam is simple and clear: to worship one God alone, without associating any partners with Him. Islam teaches pure Monotheism belief in one unique, perfect Creator who has no equals.
In Islam God (Allah) is:
- Allah is uniquely One.
- He has no Father, Mother or Son.
- He is eternal and does not die.
- Allah has no partners or equals and nothing like Him.
The Quran says
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺; Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him.”
Your God is ˹only˺ One God. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
The Oneness of God (Tawheed):
In Islam, belief in one God (Tawheed) is understood in three aspects.
1. Oneness of Lordship
Allah alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and Controller of the universe. He gives life and causes death, and nothing happens except by His will.
2. Oneness of Worship
This means All Acts of Worship such as prayer, supplication, and reliance must be directed to God Alone.
3. Oneness of Names and Attributes
God has perfect names, such as the Most Merciful and the All-Knowing. These attributes are unique to Him and are not comparable to His creation.
The Message of the Prophets
God did not leave humanity without guidance. Throughout history, He sent prophets to guide people to the truth.
Muslims believe that all prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all) came with the same essential message: To worship one God alone and to live according to His guidance.
The Quran is the final revelation from God, sent to Prophet Muhammad for all of humanity. It confirms previous scriptures, restores the original message of Monotheism and clarifies what had been changed or lost over time
