Prove Islam is Peaceful
If a Non-Muslim who was previously at war with Muslims and establishes a peace treaty, it is strictly forbidden to harm them in Islam.
Narrated`Abdullah bin`Amr: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “ Whoever killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims, shall not smell the smell of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of forty years."
In Islam, Muslims are allowed to fight in only 2 conditions from the Quran.
First, They're allowed to fight as a self-defence against those who waged war against them
Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors.
Second, Muslims are allowed to fight to remove oppression and harm
Permission ˹to fight back˺ is ˹hereby˺ granted to those being fought, for they have been wronged. And Allah is truly Most Capable of helping them ˹prevail˺. ˹They are˺ those who have been expelled from their homes for no reason other than proclaiming: “Our Lord is Allah.” Had Allah not repelled ˹the aggression of˺ some people by means of others, destruction would have surely claimed monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which Allah’s Name is often mentioned. Allah will certainly help those who stand up for Him. Allah is truly All-Powerful, Almighty.
This commandment obliges Muslims to accept peace when adversaries show willingness to cease hostilities.
If the enemy is inclined towards peace, make peace with them. And put your trust in Allah. Indeed, He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
If you saved one soul, as if you saved all humanity
That is why We ordained for the Children of Israel that whoever takes a life—unless as a punishment for murder or mischief in the land—it will be as if they killed all of humanity; and whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity.
COMMANDMENTS OF WAR IN ISLAM:
1 - Do Not kill Children, Women, Elderly and Sick persons.
Do not kill a decrepit old man, or a young infant, or a child, or a woman; do not be dishonest about booty, but collect your spoils, do right and act well, for Allah loves those who do well.
2 - Do not enforce Islam.
Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood.
3 - Don't kill enemies who run away in war and escort them to a place of safety
And if anyone from the polytheists asks for your protection ˹O Prophet˺, grant it to them so they may hear the Word of Allah, then escort them to a place of safety, for they are a people who have no knowledge.
4 - Do not kill an animal except for eating
5 - Do not kill a sick person
6 - Don't kill old People
7 - Don't cut a Tree
