Darkness in the Depths of the Sea

More than 1400 years ago nobody knew that light cannot reach deep waters, the Qur’an depicted this reality in vivid detail.

Visible light cannot penetrate deep waters. The zone in which humans can see unaided is called the photic zone. So humans can only see unaided from few centimeters to 200m. This was known recently. If one stretches out their hand, they can hardly see it.
